The Poppy Residences offer a 70-suite seniors independent living residence and new club for the Royal Canadian Legion (RCL/Branch 83), with 55,000 sf of buildable area. The project was funded by BC Housing and was the first of their finance-only Community Partnership Initiative (CPI) projects. With preferential financing plus tight control of construction and project budgets, the project creates safe, pleasant, and affordable supportive seniors’ housing for low and moderate income-level seniors.
