Hoy Creek Housing Co-op

Developed in partnership with Community Land Trust Foundation of BC (CLT), The Hoy Creek Housing Cooperative is a multi-phased redevelopment of varied tenure from co-operative housing to shared equity/affordably home ownership all within Coquitlam’s City Centre. Phase 1 delivered 132 units backing directly onto picturesque Hoy Creek within a 6-storey wood frame building over a tanked underground parkade. This replaced the existing housing stock and increased the size of the co-operative with the addition of 35 homes. Located in the heart of Coquitlam City Centre, the development is walking distance to two Evergreen Line stations and all the amenities Coquitlam has to offer. With the completion of Phase 2, over 400 homes will be brought to the non-market sector under CLT’s stewardship with funding and grants provided by all three levels of government working together to address the urgent need for affordable housing from shelter rate rates to low-and-moderate income individuals, seniors and families.
